CHANGES IN JEE MAIN 2020 EXAM PATTERN
New changes have been introduced in JEE Main Exam Pattern. JEE Main Paper 1 consists of 3 subjects – ie, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. All the subjects will have same weight-age.Each subject consists of 20 MCQ’s and 5 numerical questions and the total marks for the JEE Main Examination (Paper 1) will be 300.
JEE Main Exam contains a total of 75 questions and it will be equally divided from Physics, Chemistry and Biology; ie, 25 marks from each subject. The Exam will comprise of multiple choice questions and numerical questions. Out of the 25 questions (in each subject), 20 questions will be objective type (MCQ’s) and 5 Numerical questions with numerical value as answer.
For Multiple Choice Questions, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and there will be negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
For answer with numeric value, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 0 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
