Karnataka Common Entrance Test(K-CET 2020).

K-CET is a state level yearly Entrance Examination which is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority(KEA).

Why K-CET?

Karnataka Common Entrance Examination is organized for providing admission to Engineering, Architecture,Yoga  & Naturopathy , Veterinary, Farm Science, B.Pharma and Professional Courses.By qualifying this Examination with a good margin, Students are able to take admissions from various Government and Private Institutions.

For Medical/Dental/Ayurveda/Unani/Homeopathy courses admission, candidate must qualify NEET-2020 Examination. NEET qualified candidate can achieve admissions for Medical/Dental/AYUSH courses  through KEA (Govt Seats).

For Architecture Course Admission, candidate should compulsorily appear for NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture.

Eligibility Criteria

Courses Eligibility Criteria
MBBS/BDS/Ayush Courses Passed 12th/2nd PUC with English as one of the language subject and obtaining 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for reserve category candidates)
B.Arch Passed 12th/2nd PUC with Mathematics as one of the compulsory optional subject and obtaining 50% aggregate marks in all subjects (45% for reserve category candidates)
B.Tech/BE Passed 12th/2nd PUC with English as one of the language subject and obtaining 45% aggregate marks in Physics & Mathematics along with Chemistry/Bio-technology/Biology/Electronic/Computer (40% for reserve category candidates)
B.V. Sc. & A.H. Passed 12th/2nd PUC with obtaining 50% aggregate marks in PCB & English (40% for reserve category candidates)
B.Pharma Passed in 2nd PUC/12th with PCB or PCM and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects (40% for reserve category candidates)
OR
Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and secured minimum of 45% marks (40% for category candidates)
